What is a trophy push?
It’s where you try to get as many trophies as you can. When is the trophy push? Jedi Revenge is pushing from Fri 10/17 at 6pm Pacific until Sun 10/25 at 6pm Pacific. We will not war from 10/12 until 10/25. Our next war will be declared on Thu 10/30. Why do a trophy push? There’s a couple of good reasons to do a trophy push: 1. Skills test. You can test your attacking skills against difficult bases that you ordinarily would not attack either in regular raiding or clan wars. This will help you in both regular raiding and clan wars attacks. 2. Gems! You can get the gem bonuses for reaching Master 3 and Champion league as a first time achiever. 3. Help JR get past #106. You can help the Jedi Revenge clan achieve it’s clan points goal of breaking its personal best of #106 during the last push. 4. Defensive test. It’s also a good test of your base design and defenses. Is it mandatory? Yup, and we expect everyone to at least get to these minimums: Crystal 3 for TH8, Crystal 1 for TH9, and Master 3 for TH10. If you can’t push with us, please head to Jedi Farming. What do apprentices do during the push? We ask that our low level apprentices that don't meet regular clan requirements head to Jedi Farming, Jedi Warlords, Jedi Legacy or Jedi Force during the push. You will need to meet their requirements, so Jedi Farming might be your only option. If you go completely inactive, head to Jedi Retreat. You are welcome to return on Monday 10/26. Thanks. Are there prizes? YES! KC is donating an iTunes $10 gift card (winners must supply an email address) to the highest TH10 and TH9 (or TH8 if we have any) when the push finishes. We will keep track of the starting and ending positions. Should I start pushing now? The push doesn't officially start until Fri 10/17. But if you want, you can start pushing now. (BTW, KC is pushing right now, to get a head start. It’s only because he is busy over the next two weeks.) But plan to peak your max cups at the right time. Every push we have folks run out of elixir and max out before the end. They need to drop because they run out of elixir, or can’t win any longer. It not how high you get, it’s how high you finish. So plan accordingly! How much elixir do I need? It depends on your troop composition, how well you do, and who you choose to attack. But in general you should store up as much regular and dark elixir as possible to begin the push. Good luck Jedi! Prove that you really are a Jedi Master.... /KC Here are the final results of the Jedi Legacy push from 9/13 to 9/20. Congrats to SoxFan2017 as the winner, who pushed to Master 2 with 2804 cups!
-KC Jedi Revenge is announcing a special opportunity for a limited period of time. We are relaxing the membership requirements for 10 select members of our clan.
Join Jedi Revenge and become a Jedi apprentice! Our top rank was #106, and we have five clans in our family of clans (Revenge, Legacy, Force, Warlords, Farming). Benefits to you: You will receive high level troops donated to you that you just won’t get in other lower clans. You do not need to donate troops to stay. Just receive 500 a season Requirements:
What you have to do to stay:
We have only ten spots reserved for players on the apprentice program. The other 40 are full JR members, and the regular requirements apply to them. Alternate accounts of Jedi family members are ok at any TH level. We value the trust we have in Jedi members since they will understand how we do things. This will only be for a two week trial period encompassing four clan wars. If you do not follow the rules or hop during this time, you’ll be kicked. Following the two week period, we will evaluate how well the program worked and may decide to continue it or not. Background: Why Take in Lower Level Players? Since it first launched in May, clan wars has changed everything. The Jedi family of clans has always had a hierarchy of feeder clans (Revenge, Legacy, Force) that were separated by experience points and archer level requirements. In the old days, it was obvious who belonged in what clan. However, this way of operating hasn’t fit clan wars very well, as the match ups are a bit more difficult when everyone is about the same level. This is true in all clans. As the main clan, Jedi Revenge has had the most difficult match ups in clan wars. We have had some successes and some war failures as well. Recently, some JR leaders branched out to create a new clan called Jedi Warlords that wars literally all the time and who accepts members at all levels. This is great, as its a special interest clan with a special focus (wars all the time). At the moment, the clan is 17-3 in clan wars as there are TH10 down to TH7 in the clan. The balance of low and high level players has contributed to the war success of the clan. So, we will be trying some new ideas out to see how it goes for Jedi Revenge. The main reason is to get better clan war match ups. We recognize that the game will continue to evolve and change, and there is a new update coming soon. For this reason, we are proposing an experiment for the next two weeks. This will comprise four wars, and then we will evaluate how well its working. We may also adapt along the way as we go. When does the experiment start? Now! We will start recruiting immediately for our next clan war starting on 9/17. The trial period will be for the next four clan wars. What will we be changing? Right now, JR has xp level 90+ and archer 6 as its requirements for regular members. For a limited time, we will relax those requirements as an experiment. Yessss! We hit our goal of top 200 and are currently #189. Once we hit top 200, we got hit by a bunch of folks wanting to join us. Congrats to everyone who pushed! Great job Jedi!
/kimchidream With 57 hours left in the push, Jedi Revenge is closing in on the top 200, which was our goal when we started. We are ranked #218 with 28897 clan points, which is really great. There are 5 Champions, 2 Master1, 4 Master2, and 14 Master3s.
Keep up the good work guys. We are almost there. Our trophy push ends on July 11, 2014 at midnight Pacific Time. A special shot goes out to our friends from UK's Finest clan; saif, windy80, liam and dawSon1988. We have enjoyed pushing with you guys so far. Here's the top 25 as of right now: Hey guys, I'm a bit late in writing this but better late than never. Thanks to BIRB$, here are the starting points for Jedi Revenge, Jedi Legacy and Jedi Force for our cup push from 7/1. Jedi Force is done, having pushed for a week, but Jedi Revenge and Jedi Legacy are still pushing until 7/11.
Clash on and good luck to everyone! /kimchidream Hey guys,
In an effort to communicate what is going on, here's some news and thoughts on expanding! First off, even though a "soft launch" of a new clan is underway, a lot of this is still in planning and discussion is ongoing in the various clans. A lot happened quickly, and I'll try to explain why below. Second, no one will be forced to move anywhere. We will grandfather those currently in whatever clans they are in, because we respect the community. Read below for more rationale as to why. And yes, both clans (Jedi Revenge, Jedi Legacy) are almost full! Everyone's done a great job recruiting, and both appear healthy again. This is great! We are enforcing the donation rules and encouraging higher activity levels, and it's working. We have had to part ways with some long time elders but I think we are better off now. And some have returned and increased activity, which is good. What happened two days ago is that Jedi Legacy filled up, and we had to kick out some of the alternate accounts of our elders and leaders to make room. Uh oh, we were too full! What a great problem to have. A lot of this has been driven by some forum ads that Andrew cooked up for us (thanks Andy!) on the Supercell forums. So what happened is that NorseKing/MadViking went to another clan that ended up collapsing, and then had the opportunity to get a major jump start on new members. Also, the Chairman and MJPJ were kicked out of JL to make room. So we "soft launched" a third clan, Jedi Force (JF), because we had to. This was a bit rushed but it was out of necessity. And it was opportunistic due to the guys in the clan that Norse had found. I'm happy to report that it has 17 members right now, which is great. JL is sending folks with arch level 4 and those who are not pushing now to JF. Most of you know that we've been considering launching a new clan for a while, so hopefully this isn't a surprise. Here's my thoughts on expanding: 1) I think we have pretty much agreed on archer level as simplest, as opposed to experience level and archers or something else; 2) Middle clan? Previously, we were discussing a new middle clan. However, I think there's a number of problems with this: 1) splits based on either arch or xp level may destroy community; 2) two half clans is no good. We were struggling with the reality of two half clans, which is really hard. The biggest problem is destroying community and affinity for the other players. What makes the Jedi family of clans great is relationships. There's some great affinity in JL and JR now. So……I think that we wouldn't want to force people to move, and use the idea of grandfathering in those already in the clan even if the requirements change. The idea of grandfathering in those less than xp lev 80 in JR has worked well for us. So here's the proposal: 1) Create a NewClan/Jedi Force for Lev 4+ archers. This is where the action is going to be. It's critical that we get it right, healthy, and thriving. There are way more noobs there, yes, but the pool of recruits is much much larger. This is where the new young Jedi will be trained and grow to our higher clans, so it is critical. This NewClan would not be in the middle, it would be the lowest one. As much as JA didn't work, I think that we have seen that the second time we launch a clan with the right clan support that it works. Case in point: JR 2.0 failed, JL succeeded. JA failed, The NewClan hopefully will succeed. Let's consider giving it a new name, just for branding purposes. Another reason is that if it fails, then it's no big deal. But if the middle one fails, then it is because we have a gap between the clans. 2) Announce that JL is requiring Lev 5 arch on Jul 1st. Everyone currently in JL gets grandfathered in. 3) Announce that JR is requiring Lev 6 arch on Sep 1st. Everyone current in JR gets grandfathered in too. It's a longer time because it'll take longer to get there. If we are successful, then we will end up with: JR: arch level 6 JL: arch level 5 JF: arch level 4 And then once we fill up those, we expand again to have a level3 arch clan, as well as multiple feeders at each level. :) Obviously, there's going to be a lot of discussion about how to do this especially with clan wars coming soon, but it is a great time to be a Jedi. Farm hard, push cups, and have fun! /KC |
